To bring our clients the best possible DJ pricing, we do not have a “standard price model” for our services. However, we are happy – actually, we’re downright eager – to provide free quotes!
DJ Pricing Factors
These are the factors we use in quoting the price of DJ Services:
- Location (travel time, toll $$)
- Venue
- Gear haul (upstairs? long carry?)
- Service duration (how long do you need us to provide DJ services?)
- Requested lighting package

Why No Standard DJ Pricing?
We get asked this question a lot, and the best way to explain it is to give an example.
First Client: Let’s say we have a client living in our hometown, needing just a basic lighting setup for a birthday party. The venue is an apartment complex banquet room. They want us to play for three hours.
Second Client: We have another client who has an event 45 minutes away from us. It requires almost $20 in tolls (round trip). The event is on the second floor in their home. Furthermore, they also want us to play for three hours.
Do you think it’s fair to charge both clients the same amount? We don’t. While we would give the second client a very fair price for our DJ services, the first client would be different. Rather than charging the same, we give the first client a break in pricing since they’re so close and the setup is simple.
This is the only way we know of to give our clients the best possible price for our services. We think it’s a good way, and we hope you will too!
